Chapter Hundred and Ten: The Church

GINA’S POV

When I recalled Damien, all I could remember clearly were his black soulless eyes, how they were devoid of emotions, and the way evil swirled in his orbs. Now I understood why everything about him set me on edge. Though I only met him once, it was enough to conclude he wasn't a good person.

And now we knew just how much of an evil person he truly was.

I glanced at Devyn who was noticeably angry, with the way his jaw clenched and the prominent vein propped on his forehead. I couldn't blame him. I would be furious too if the source of our problems had been practically under our noses the whole time.

“I should’ve killed him a long time ago, and spared us the trouble,” Devyn growled out.

I remembered the monsters the witches had killed; the ones that almost killed Devyn, and I felt chills run through me. It was evident where they had gotten such power from. To be able to have the power to alter the genetics of a werewolf, to infuse their teeth and claws with deadly poison… Just
