Chapter Hundred and Nine: His Plan

I don’t know how long I slept but when I woke up, I was glad to find Gina still nestled in my arms. There was a knock on the door, and she jolted awake immediately, looking at me and back to the door.

“Come in,” she mumbled and the door opened, as two teenage girls walked in holding trays. When I saw the food, my stomach rumbled and I realized just how hungry I was.

When they saw the position Gina and I were in, they blushed as they cast a knowing look at each other. They were going to have something to talk about when they left.

After they served the food, I thanked them and they hurriedly scurried away in a way that reminded me of rats. As soon as they left and closed the door behind them, I spoke.

“Why did they dash off like that?”

“Probably because there’s a hot man in their coven,” Gina’s gaze shifted to the fabric hanging loosely around my waist, “A half-naked one at that.”
