I blinked many times when I realized that he is actually inviting me for a dance. At first, I thought it was a joke, so I chuckled and gradually shook my head.

“You’re kidding, right?” I said and played with my fingers. “I am just a legate and a company of the royal family of the Kingdom Monjour.”

“So what? Is it not right if I invite you for a dance?”

That was the time I showed my baffled expression. Of course it is not right since a commoner and a royalty must not be seen in a dance! Everyone would judge and be disgusted.

I only confirmed my perspective when I looked around and saw every guest that is observing us. One look, they would be seen as casually clamoring while the party is ongoing, but for the record, Prince Ken is the star in this ball so they are eyeing every girl that he would dance to cope up with the tradition in finding a wife.

“O-Okay,” I stammered in answering and nodded. “It is my honor to dance with you, Your Highness.”
