CHAPTER 93: A WAY IN.

The corners of the high fence posed no threat to Lana's determination. Except for the radiating light around them that hit on her every two seconds, she blended well with the darkness. She had changed to a black turtleneck, black yoga pants, black sneakers, and a black mask over her face to conceal it.

Swinging her shoulders back and forth, she gathered the energy to hook her legs on the rough sides of the fence, using her gloved hands to support herself before jumping over. This side of the fence was where she used to pick shrubs to take back to the kitchen, which would be used to make dinner. That was what she remembered.

The back was high, but the front was lower. Successfully, she landed on a thud with her face flat into the withered orchard of shrubs. She silently grunted in pain, picking herself up. She nearly burst into tears after seeing what used to be a beautiful area left in ruins.
