Logan's POV

I ran as fast as I could, like a thousand light bolts because I didn't know what could happen at this time. Things were going Haywire, and my head wasn't even in the right frame of mind.

"Go!" Her words replayed in my mind like she was trying to tell me that all this was an illusion, that all this wasn't real.

My heart pounded continuously in my chest as I ran back to the packhouse with everything I had. I had never been so desperate about a woman since Tessa died, but this was probably the only change the moon goddess gave me, and I messed it up again.

My mind played back all the moments we had spent together, making the urge to cry stronger. I was trying my best to hold it all in, but there was no way. It was just too strong for me to overpower.

I got back to the packhouse, bones cracking as I shifted back to my human form. I didn't care about how naked I was, we werewolves don't care about the nakedness of others, we had seen too many to care.
