Chapter 16

I felt so angry before. Anger boiled through my veins when I heard what the maid said but there were many things I didn't understand.

He had lost his first mate and it only happened in a few cases that one would have a second mate.

"This cannot be!" I screamed, pulling my hair in such a way that pain rushed through my body.

I was already in pain the moment I heard that Logan had found his mate so additional pain wasn't a problem to me.

"Why, why now!" I spoke in between gritted teeth, banging my fisted palms on the counter where the glass of wine was before.

 I hated what I was getting. I was so close to getting him but the moon goddess always pushed him away.

"Damn it!" I was so angry I could strangle someone at the moment. I didn't know what else to do.

"Calm down Britney, go and hear her out first, maybe she was just joking," I tried to console myself with this thought.

I was in no shape to do anything at the moment. Th
