Defending The Master's Slave

Tara's POV

The moment I saw my Dad walk into the room, I sprang up and rushed to him shivering in fear. I hugged him tight, and he stroked my hair softly.

"What is the matter, Tara? Who dares make my daughter so sad? Your tears alone are precious Tara, and you're not supposed to waste them" Father continued flattering me, and I found myself smiling. What the f***? I shouldn't even try to smile, not after the mess I just created.

"Father, I don't know what to do anymore. This is really making me so sad" I pouted my mouth while my father dropped the pistol he was holding on the bed, and knelt right in front of me. I was lying on the ground.

"What happened, Tara?" He asked tenderly, and I sniffed hard.

"Father, we need to be prepared for anything because I shot Stone" I summoned courage before speaking.

"What? You shot Stone? Why would you do that?" He widened his eyes in shock, and I gulped nervously. I don't need anyone to tell me that what I did will bring us lots of trouble.
