The Treasure

Lucien's POV

I walked out of my chambers, and that should be the first time in so many weeks. I've always been the kind of person whose always indoors. The guards followed me behind while I walked in front.

Holding my robe with my left hand, I walked bravely to the treasury room. I go there every month ending to check the treasures that I've kept there.

Axel quickly opened the chains and padlock used to lock the door, and throws the door open. I walked into the dark treasury room, and looked around it. I was already used to the dark, so I could see through it perfectly.

The first place I went to was the place I placed my precious diamond necklace. I consider that treasure precious because it was the last gift my late wife had given to me before she was gruesomely killed.

I picked up the little silver bowl where I usually place the necklace, and to my greatest surprise it was nowhere to be found. Not only that, but I flared up with so much rage. Furthermore, I can lose every other trea
