"If she takes her drugs and doesn't put too much strain on her leg then she should be better in a few days,"

I listened intently to the doctor as she wrote down the prescriptions for the drugs and then as the back of the small slip of paper that she had torn out was her number, as I was leaving the office I really couldn't blame her for trying out her luck.

However, the smile that was growing on my face immediately died off the moment I found myself standing in front of the ward with only a door separating me and seeing the face of that woman that I married, every time I saw her it was as if I was not even seeing her at all but rather I was seeing her cruel and sinister father.
