Hunting for Treats

I threw on my black jeans and a black turtle neck with my boots and grabbed my backpack. I put on my jacket and gloves so I wouldn't be so cold. I opened the window just enough for me to squeeze through - I didn't want them to be able to feel the breeze through the open window.

Once I was sure no one was around, I jumped to the ground landing silently on my feet. I glanced around again before taking off down the road, avoiding as many street lights as possible. I made it to Corey, the butcher's, shop right after 9. He had a small refridgerated truck running and when he saw me he jumped in the driver's seat. I hopped in the passanger side and he asked me again if I was sure. I just laughed and told him, "Let's go."
