I tossed the bidding lot to the table gasping for breath.

I won! But that won't make my father look at me any different. Although the bidding went rather too easy now that I think about it.

Leo obviously gave up because Roosevelt asked him to. The dark murky gang didn't talk much like they had other ulterior motives, did l win too easily or on purpose?

I let out a sharp breath apprehensively, l feel so uneasy.

As if the bidders didn't bid much, as if l was the one putting up a show.

My eyes picked up on Mr Vinci, “Hi, Mr Vinci,” l greeted, not getting up from my seat.

"Congratulations on getting that, you did well,” He praised me calmly and walked out. l bowed slightly and respectfully to his nice words.

Ruby, the daughter of A.E Automobiles walked up to my seat with two other unknown girls and sat on my seat.
