Chapter 22: Fresh Lemon Juice.

Mason.

I placed the access card on the door frequency lawn and stepped inside, the living room was empty.

I kept the first aid box on the centrepiece and my eyes landed on Andrew's cellphone and a remote beside it.

I picked it up and tapped on it and I realised it was only my missed calls he had on his screen. My eyes quickly rested on the door as it beeped open at that moment.

"Hi,” Andrew boomed, he was dressed casually in a fitted white t-shirt and blue jeans which complemented his branded black slides. He had a jet-coloured suitcase in his right hand.

“Hi,” I replied and quickly dropped his phone back on the table in a flash.

"What happened to your hand?” He asked worriedly, throwing the suitcase that seemed light onto the sofa.

"It's nothing, where have you been?" I taunted, making my way to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Stepped out to get extra luggage. Stayed only for two days and it seemed like my clothes didn't fit, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."
