I step away from the door as Leo pushes inside. I ignore him and hurry to the bed to wake Kai up, patting him gently on his cheeks, and nudging his shoulders, “Come on baby, wake up we need to go,” I beg him.

Leo grips my arm and spins me around forcefully, “What are you doing?” He dares to be angry.

I fling my arm, getting his lying hand off me, “Don't touch me.”

“Mason, don't act like this.”

“How should I act, you disgusting liar?” I chuckle ridiculously, rubbing my forehead, “You know what? I'm leaving, I can't do this! I'm not doing this thing, whatever you call it with you.”

“It's not what you think,” Leo says through gritted teeth.

Something painful squeezed in my heart at how pathetic he was looking trying to lie to my face again. I know what I heard, he said it loud and clear to his family and friends that he is not in a relationship with me. That we are only friends.
