Chapter 44 – The Ball (Part 2)
Lisa's POV
Jonas guides us to the dance floor and wraps his hand around my waist. I place one of mine on his shoulder and he pulls me closer.
I hope you brought your A-game. I'm not going to go easy on you. "
That's correct. You said you're going to make this "challenging for me."
"You got that right."
The intro to the song begins softly.
Jonas leans towards my ear. "Try not to lose your breath." He whispers.
One, two, three, and four...
The slow song transforms into a waltz. We glide across the floor in perfect rhythm, not missing a step. The violinists played fervently, increasing the tempo of the song, and we matched it without breaking a sweat.

Lisa's POV Stepping into the Senate room totally freaks me out. That was the best way to describe how I felt about it. The Order sat on thrones made out of skulls, while the Prime Alpha's was made out of gold. They all wore black suits with black ties to match.
