Last Words

*SARAH'S POV

I was back at that place, Astrid's mansion. The house looked ancient now that I was seeing it in broad daylight but it still looked so grand.

A lady came out and ushered me into the house then I watched Astrid walk down the stairs in black regalia.

As soon as she got to me, she bowed her head and said her greeting. I did the same.

"Uh..can you stop doing that? You can just call me by my name, Sarah." I said to her 'cause it made me so uncomfortable.

She agreed and then smiled. "Have you eaten? Let's have breakfast together."

We had a wonderful meal and she got to business over a cup of tea meant for easy digestion.

"I heard you wanted to see me." She started.

"Yes. I would like to look into my past life." I said to her. She did not expect that but I said it anyway.
