Not Your Fault

ALPHA DAMON'S POV

I woke up slowly and heard soft voices. When I fully opened my eyes, I saw a bright ceiling with soft lights. Looking around, all I could see was a large room.

"Doctor, he's awake," a woman's voice said.

I realized I was in a hospital room. I tried moving and was relieved that I could.

"Relax," I heard a familiar friendly male voice, Jones', reassured me. Realizing it was him, I knew I was in a hospital, a VIP room to be precise.

"What happened?" I asked slowly, struggling to remember.

"Wait a moment," Jones said, taking a break to examine me. He wasn't just our family doctor; he was also a close friend.

"Ouch," I groaned, feeling a strong headache.

"Are you alright?" Jones inquired.

"My head hurts," I replied, touching my forehead and noticing a bandage.

"I'll give you a sedative injection now," he informed me.

While Jones continued with his tasks, Sarah entered the room from afar.

"Alpha Damon!" she called out excitedly and rushed over to hug me tightly,
Winnergirl.
