Celeste zipped her suitcase closed distractedly, nothing but sadness in her eyes as she watched him pack his bags. Could he not just forgive her?

Every single time he glared at her, an additional piece of her heart fell from her chest and into the pit of her stomach. She hated it, she kept wishing things would go back to how they were, but every time she attempted to get close to him, he'd walk away.
