39: Nightmare

I was so tired but there was no way I could close my eyes. I was sitting on Zion’s bed with my right hand gripping his tightly as Elena and another pack doctor ran around the room doing whatever they do to make sure he was okay.

“He is still unconscious” I pointed to Elena even though I knew she could already see that. I don’t even know why I pointed out the obvious but I couldn’t breathe properly because it scared me to see him so still even when I know he was alive.

“He went through a lot tonight so his body is just recovering. He will be up and back to normal tomorrow morning, I promise” She walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulders. She squeezed my shoulders in reassurance and I just patted her hands in return.
