40: Don't Close up on me

After my sudden statement, Zion had been shocked enough to let me go so I flew out of the bed and began pacing the room. I was on the verge of bursting into tears because of the emotions that were flooding me all at once. Pain, heartbreak, anger, relief, it was all too much.

“You don't mean that” Zion spoke softly as if he was afraid of something.

“You know I do. I have a lot of reasons to not hate you” he winced at my words

“You are trying to hurt me intently” he pointed out

“You were the one who kept me on edge for the entire week” I finally yelled out “no contact what so ever. You can't deny that you didn't feel it. It was your way of punishing me” I snapped. The urge to make him hurt was slowly growing past the relief I had that he was fine and here with me

“It wasn't on purpose”

“The hell it wasn't” I yelled

“Calm down” He ordered but it only made me furious. “Let me explain” he added when he saw I was in no mood for whatever he had in mind
