Chapter 32

Jason

Keith packed the car in front of my house, and we stepped down so I could go into my house and grab nothing–my silly attempt to make him go away didn’t work.

As I took a few steps away from the car towards my front door, I heard a rush of wind, and my nostrils caught the scent of wolves. I whirled around, alert and ready to defend myself. Keith was already in alpha mode–glaring with red eyes, and his long wolf claws. He growled as more parts of his body morphed into his wolf self.

One of the men stepped forward, shaking in terror as he explained that they weren’t there to fight, but were simple messengers from the second Prince of the Juno pack. They dropped the bombshell that Davina was with the Evans and she was safe and sound, recovering from her wound.

As the men from the Juno pack left, Keith turned to me and asked, "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
