Chapter 25

My door busted open and I raise my head, gritting my teeth in contempt for the fool that had the guts to fling my door open without a knock knowing that I am the Alpha.

I will have your head on a stake.

I jerked off my bed as Jackson’s maid come to view, breathlessly waving her hands in the air, looking mortified like she had just seen a ghost. Her petrification dampened my anger as tears rolled down her chin.

She clasp her hand together and stuttered, “It’s Jason—he’s dying.”

“What the hell do you mean by that?” I feel a chin run down my spine. Is this some kind of Joke?

“He is outside, bleeding out and barely breathing. Nothing the doctor is doing is helping. Please do something. He can’t die,” she cried and fell to her knees.

My thoughts ran amok as I realized she is not joking and indeed as I focused my hearing on the chattering voices outside, I heard people talking in panicked tones about Jason.

“No!” I yell and run towards my door. The maid got out of the way
