Chloe POV

Waking up, I lifted my hands to the heavy pressure weighing down on my chest. My eyes opened into slits, looking down, and I saw it was Miles wrapped around me, laying his head between my breasts. He had the most peaceful expression. Mick must have been the one to go to training again.

It’s been like this for the past three days. Mick has been the one leading the elite training early mornings and Miles has been sleeping in with me. I tried to tell them I wanted to go to training too the first day, but Miles explained how exhausted he has been trying to take over the pack on his own. Mick is stepping up, and Miles is sleeping in. Having me in bed with him helps him fully relax, and I’m not complaining about the extra sleep with him. He’s the most selfless man I have ever met. If he asks anything of me, I’m going to give it to him.
