“Work it, girl! Work it!” Cindy smirked, snapping his fingers in the air.

“You look hot. Especially with that nasty bruise all gone. Hot, hot, hot,” Riley said with a mischievous grin. He then turned to stare up at Dave. “Doesn’t she look hot?”

Dave barely gave me a glance from his phone, then just shrugged. He splayed one of his large hands on Riley’s stomach then tugged him closer. “I’ve seen hotter.”

Riley looked totally satisfied while everyone else laughed.

I looked down at myself and grimaced. I hate wearing dresses. Loose sundresses or the occasional dress for a night out is fine, but this dress was too formal for my taste. Winnie must have noticed, because he shook his head, then shooed me back to the dressing room.

“Not for you. I thought we could have a pretty woman moment, but we’re working with the wrong Julia Roberts movie. It’s like I’m putting Erin Brockovich in Chanel. I think Gucci is much more your style.”
