I turned around to see an incredibly handsome man. His pale skin looked a lot like mine and for a weird reason, I thought I looked like him.

"Ashley Elsher, I'm I right?" He asked with a smile, not moving.

Before I could answer, Gatlin blocked my view and said. "Let's not do this."

"Gatlin West, you've grown a lot more audacious and daring. Twenty years ago you were unable to stand in my presence." The man retorted.

I had a vague understanding of who he was and asked, "Are you a demon?"

The next thing I saw was Gatlin being thrown aside and the man appearing in front of me.

He had a smile on his face as he gazed down at me. "You're just as beautiful as your mother."
