Before she could say any other thing, I felt a flashlight being pointed at us.

"Who's there?" Apparently, it was the security.

The security man was a witch, hence, he couldn't see through the night like wolves and vampires.

Without thinking twice, I ran to him and stood behind him. It was my first time seeing him but that didn't matter since he had literally saved us from a danger we had no idea how to resolve.

"What is going on here, kid?" He inquired as he inched closer to Cassie, Keller and Principal Heaven.

Before I could say anything, the woman beat me to it. "I noticed there were students outside at such an odd hour. I came out to have a look. Teenagers and being inquisitive."

She laughed lightly afterwards and the security man joined her as well. Then he pointed the torch at us and snapped, "Go to your dorms and await your punishments tomorrow!"
