The Day Of The Game

Rebecca hadn't gone far when she recalled she had to check up on something. She stopped before a flower stall and purchased roses from them.

She headed towards a remote part of the mountain near to the city where a grave was constructed with the name 'Cassidy Elsher' on it.

After running her finger around it with teary eyes, Rebecca dropped the flowers gently on the grave, then she squatted to have a brief talk with the tomb.

"I'm sorry for not coming last week. I've been occupied with some things. You probably already know about Ashley's situation."

She stopped and looked up to the skies to avoid her tears from falling. When she looked down again, she added, "Your absence is still greatly felt by me and Ashley and we're doing everything we can to console ourselves."

"While I distort the fact that I miss you, she's probably in constant denial of such a great mother that you would've been." She completed her sentence after a moment of silence.
