Emmett’s POV

“Luca?” I ask, as I watch panic fall on his handsome face. The lights are still dim, we are still surrounded my burning candles, and he is down on one knee, with a box.

When the curtain drops, I see it, 1958 Plymouth Fury, in red. Fully restored.

“Ewww, he is proposing with Christine!” I hear Patty yell.

Luca looks embarrassed, I don’t have the heart to tell him he just proposed with a “killer” car. After seeing that movie, I never wanted to own a Fury.

Now, it is, literally, the car my mate is proposing marriage with. Of course, it’s Patty who has to point out that it’s Christine. Because, at 8 years old, of course she has seen Christine. It’s Patty, you can tell she is the 18th child. They have no control over her.

“What is a Christine?” Luca asks.

I heard a few other car experts snickering. Cameron looks shocked and dismayed. Clearly, he was not in on this, because he would have never let Luca propose with the least romantic car ever built.
