Steven’s feet made a scraping noise as he entered the training ground. I began to pull off my shirt and undid my belt when I caught Emma’s scent. I threw her a look over my shoulder and from my hindsight, I watched her turn her back.

Not like I cared if she saw anything.

I pulled off my trousers and hung them properly before getting into my training attire. Steven was deliberately being slow and I hated it. The kind of anger that was boiling within me was slowly snapping the little rope of patience holding my sanity together.
