CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Lisa’s POV

Lisa woke up early the next day, feeling a mix of sadness and nervousness about their journey back home. She gathered her belongings and went to meet George in the living room and they headed for the airport, hoping for a smooth trip.

As they sat in the car, George couldn't help but bring up the incident from the previous day. He turned to Lisa with a frown on his face and said, "Why do you have to make it clear that you are a prostitute and a gold digger everywhere you go? Are you that cheap?” He asked angrily

Lisa looked at George, surprised by his sudden outburst. "George, what's wrong with you? Why are you upset about me talking to someone? How is that your problem?” She asked angrily

George remained silent, his anger evident in his clenched fists and furrowed brow. He didn't utter a single word to Lisa for the entire duration of the flight. It was an uncomfortable and tense journey as they sat side by side, not exchanging a single glance at each other.
