The Break-Up

Renata sat up with a jerk. What did Michelangelo mean by he was coming to the house? again her phone chimed, “are you there?”

“Yes, yes, I am here. Where are you?” she replied.

“Coming upstairs,” replied Michelangelo.

“What?” shouted Renata and jumped from her bed. She skidded her way to the main door and opened it before Michelangelo could press the doorbell.

“Stop!” she shouted and jumped at Michelangelo. He immediately caught her in his arms and both lost their balance. Luckily, Severino was there to help them. He pushed Michelangelo slightly and that stopped everyone from falling.

“Woah! If I knew this is how you would welcome me, I would have come here sooner,” teased Michelangelo and let her go.
