The Plan is Successful

Renata’s plan to irk them was working. Her plan to teach everyone a lesson was working.

“You bastard! You daughter of an odal. You dare do this to us,” snapped all three at her and stood up. Vikentiy raised his gun at her.

Renata lowered her eyes and took a deep sigh. She then raised her head to look at him and with fire in her eyes stood up. She walked up to him and put her head on the barrel of his gun.

“Do it! Let’s see how much courage you have,” taunted Renata. “If you kill me, my people might give you your kids back.”

“Ren!” shouted Hazel and a few of Renata’s team members stood up in shock.

Renata raised her finger to shut her up. Everyone sat back down. Looking at her fierce eyes Vikentiy backed down. He lowered his gun and went down to his knees. “Please, not my daughter. She did nothing to you. Please let her go! She is just a kid.”

Renata grabbed a chuck of his hair and yanked it hard, making him look at her. She lowered her face to look directly into his eyes and snapped,
