The vampire authority finishes up with their part of the job while Draco and I watch from across the street. I think it is safer here for us, and Draco agrees with me. At least Renae is okay. I do not even want to think about what Horace would have done to her, given a chance. She has to be in so much mental turmoil right now. That poor woman. Lester POVI leave the authority building; I need to get home to Renae as quickly as possible. I do not want her stressed out worrying about me when she should only be concentrating on her own recovery. I am still in shock over Samuel and Tara, but too many people are saying it is true now. I awake in the middle of the night. I cannot sleep. Draco is lying in the bed beside me and sleeping so sound. I have not seen him sleep this sound in a very long time. He deserves the sleep. Even though they are no longer human, Vampires still need sleep occasionally. It is a myth that they do not sleep. They do not need as much sleep as humans or hybrids, but they do not need some sleep here and there. Draco POVI awake early so I can get everything together before Tatina gets out of bed. I get out of bed quietly, so I do not wake her. I turn on the bathroom light to dress. Draco POVTatina and I arrive at a small cabin in the mountains. Lester was able to secure us a cottage when I called to tell him that Tatina was pregnant and we needed a place long term.
