Her Story
Draco POV
Tatina and Ronica leave me alone with my thoughts. I know I am having a lot of ideas right now. Mostly about how I would like to kill Samuel for what he has done. He is supposed to be protecting people, not making money off of these people. The bastard needs to die, but that would force Tatina and me to go on the run. There has to be a way to make him pay for all of what he has done to these women.
The lady starts moving around in the bed. “Where am I?” she asks grumbling and trying to figure out if she is safe or not.
“You are safe,” I say.
She looks over at me, terrified. “I am not going to hurt you. I am Draco. My wife Tatina is here also. I can get her if you are afraid of me,” I say to her calmly. I know seeing a vampire after being held by one can be a little overwhelming.
“Tatina is here. Can I see her? I have heard stories about her,” she says.

Lester POVI leave the authority building; I need to get home to Renae as quickly as possible. I do not want her stressed out worrying about me when she should only be concentrating on her own recovery. I am still in shock over Samuel and Tara, but too many people are saying it is true now. I awake in the middle of the night. I cannot sleep. Draco is lying in the bed beside me and sleeping so sound. I have not seen him sleep this sound in a very long time. He deserves the sleep. Even though they are no longer human, Vampires still need sleep occasionally. It is a myth that they do not sleep. They do not need as much sleep as humans or hybrids, but they do not need some sleep here and there. Draco POVI awake early so I can get everything together before Tatina gets out of bed. I get out of bed quietly, so I do not wake her. I turn on the bathroom light to dress. I go to let Tatina know that I am going to check on Natie after I dress. She will need a few moments to wake up and get her a cup of coffee or a coke. I pull back the covers, and Tatina is not in bed. She must have gone to check on Natie. I cannot believe I did not realize she got out of bed. I must have slept hard last night. Draco POVWe all go back to Ronica’s place to gather ourselves and figure out what to do next. I have to get Tatina straight so we can get the hell out of hell. Draco POVTatina and I arrive at a small cabin in the mountains. Lester was able to secure us a cottage when I called to tell him that Tatina was pregnant and we needed a place long term. Draco POVTatina is still asleep when I get out of bed this morning. She was wild and on fire for me last night, which I enjoyed every second. We finally went to sleep when the sun was coming up this morning. Draco POVTatina is terrified; hell, I am afraid. I am happy to see Renae and Lester here to help keep her calm and maybe put her mind somewhere else. Renae gets out of the car and is running straight into the house to see Tatina. Renae comes up to check on Tatina. I know it will be hard for Renae to see her like this. It is hard to see her, such a vibrant soul that Tatina is, and now she is weak. She will not be fragile for long; as her powers shift and her cravings grow, the doctor assures me that her powers will become stronger than ever after the babies are born. Her focus is not on her vampire transition or losing any of her identity as a fairy. Tatina is only focused on the two babies growing inside her, and as she changes, I can hear every thought in her head. She worries for them so much.
