Alpha Superior Eli said to Viola as they both stood in front of the pack house. He patted her gently while the guards stared at her suspiciously.
Something about her smelled off to them. She smelled human. A human among their midst? It was preposterous.
Viola was still feeling a little sore and tired from all the running.
They had run all the way from the Council Building to Ortus Solis, their pack territory.

Nestled in the woodland, in those parts, was a mansion. It was the pack house, Viola's unofficial home for the past few weeks.It's windows were as shy eyes, large enough to welcome any ray of sun.
