Noah jerked himself awake. He looked around the room, it was bare and brightly lit. Not a single thing in it except for himself and the chair he was strapped to. How tacky.

He looked at his hands carefully before deciding to break free. His father knew just how strong he was, so he wouldn't give him bonds that were easy to escape from.

He was right, the bonds were thin, made of sharp wire. If Noah pulled his hands, they would be immediately sliced off. What a psychopath he had as a father.

There was no way he could tell the time. His wolf was calm, so there wasn't any reason to fuss yet. He sighed.

A door opened to his right, his mother walked in. Noah sneered and kept mum.

"You irritating child, how are you awake so early?", she scowled at him. Noah said nothing. He should've blocked off her number ages ago, he thought she had good in her heart. It seemed he misjudged her character.
