Noah jerked awake to Izolda sitting next to him. He had been moved in his state of unconsciousness. The room was rather bland. He was sitting on a bed with a light blue bed sheet. He was surprisingly unrestrained. It seemed his parents wouldn't mind Izolda losing her head.

"Don't even think about it, I've been given more blood", Izolda said. Noah turned to look at her. Her eyes were green, everything, the iris, the pupil, the part that was supposed to be white. It was all murky green.

"Why?", He simply asked. There were some people he decided were just batshit crazy.

"I have to be a worthy mate for you ", she smiled coyly. Noah mentally held himself back from grimacing. He held a full body shiver of irritation back too.

He generally despised women that held romantic inclinations for him, it just tended to irritate him immediately. Well, except Myla. But she was the exception to a great many things.
