I was just driving around in the city,with no clue where I was heading. I was just randomly roaming about to different parts of the city, with my roof down, masking my face in the darkness.

Cool air brushed against my face and numbness overtook the features of my face. I could hardly feel anything, where I was in a position to think of nothing.

Nothing.

I was sick with it. Sick of comforting myself over my heart breaks. Over the lies that I fed myself.

Because truth is tough to know. And tougher to accept.

But I was in a position where nothing can be undone. Everything was over.

Everything.

I heard the ring of my cell phone, making me snap out of my thoughts. I groaned and tossed it around.

The rings faded away, only to come back again. Something at my heart tells me it's important.

I reached for my phone and pulled it up. Focusing my eyes on the screen, I frowned looking at the caller ID.

It was an unknown number. With curiosity I answer the call. I press the speaker t
