Sapphire I dragged my suitcase out of my room and pulled it through the stairs. It comfortably slid through it and landed with a thud on the ground. I hushed to myself and took careful steps down and straightened the suitcase. And then, moving over to the front I started pulling it toward me, stepping back slowly. I hit my back with the main door, and didn't realise it until it happened. Sean's impatient honks were heard through the thick door and I opened it with a close proximity to hit my head. When my face was finally thrown out of the door, I scowled at him in response. But I highly doubt he could even see that though his windows glass up since his annoying honks never ended. I quickly put the note I wrote for Juliette on the adjoining table and pulled my suitcase out of the door. As I involuntarily swiped the little sweat forming across my forehead, I slowly shut the door and locked it. I checked it for assurance and turned around. I dragged the bag down with great difficulty
Sapphire When I was told we're going to a summer house, I thought it would be cute little house alongside a beach with a small gate and a room for a short family. But it was nothing like what I imagined it to be. To say it's huge is an understatement. I doubt if we can note it as a summer house because it's almost like a mansion. Not a huge royal paintings kinda mansion but bright technology kinda mansion. Both the ways it was a mansion. I felt Sean's fingers closing my jaw up, that has been gaping at the sight before me for the past 10 seconds. "I didn't know a summer house could be this beautiful." I said. "This is not the summer house, pretty girl." He said, with a chuckle. "What?" I asked. "This is where my grandparents live when they need their alone time. It's their holiday place most of the time when they aren't fine to travel around the world kicks in." "Why did we come here?" "We're going to stay here for tonight and start to the summer house tomorrow in the morning
Sapphire I got a bit too enthusiastic for our next date and ranted a few random excuses for Peach to believe my urgency to leave her. Ofcourse she was insistent to know about the awkwardness of the situation but I made sure I acted well in front of her that she would have no clue about what we're up to. I asked Sean for help to convince Peach but he just flipped it off. He said he couldn't care less about the whole matter and asked me to feed some noses into her brain. But that's not that easy to do. Peach might act like a kid, but she is very smart. She can sense if anyone is lying and would quickly sense the fishy thing. Though it is good to have her here and she's very good at heart, it's very difficult to keep up with her. She talks a lot and she has so much in her mind that I'm afraid that I'll fail to keep up with her. And back to where I was, I hurriedly walked from the gallery and headed to the stairs. In my over enthusiasm, I took two steps at once and tripped over the las
Sean Her face lit up like the night sky. She widened her eyes as her face broke into a huge grin. She looked dreamily at me and then back at the muffin I was holding. Though it was a small thing, she seemed pretty happy with it. I silently took out my Polaroid and captured the face while she looked up at the fireworks a few moments back. When she finally did land her eyes on mine, the genuine smile spread across my face made the moment even more magical. It's so unfair she can look so beautiful without any effort. She hardly tries to put make up, or anything for that matter. Yet she manages to make me fall for her every moment I look at here. The love that I have for her drives me insane. It's not just once, that I fell for her. She can effortlessly male any man fall on his knees. She creates an aura around her that no one can resist. "You knew it?" She asked, incredulously. Darling, I've been in love with you for a long time. "Of course." I said, carefully picking my words. "
Sapphire."How's it?" Sean whispered into my ear, making a tingling sensation. We were right now standing on the deck of the ferry, on the top most floor, while the rest of the family stayed down. After our little make out session in Sean's room, my face was all flushed with red. Though his warning seemed intimidating, I can't refuse to say that it was tempting. We got down and met Julia. She's changed plans and came here directly to travel with us.We soon got into the ferry and set off. Everything was going fine and his family greeted me, and that's when Sean decided to pull me up.I warned him I don't want to get caught making out by their family but he just waved it off and dragged me up.As soon as I climbed my last step, he sealed my eyes with his hands and said he wanted to show me something. He guided me to a certain place, carefully taking small steps with me. He slowly took his hand off my eyes."Amazing." I breathed out, looking at the view before me."I knew it." I could fe
"You have been very rude." She corrected me. "Okay, I have been very rude but that's not the point. She knows I'm doing it for her. Why the hell can't she get that?" "I don't blame her for this, Sean. You were being unreasonable to her." "Mom, not you too. You know I care a lot about her. That's it exactly why I'm doing this." "I am not denying that you don't care about her. It's just that you care a lot about her. It's not healthy for any relationship. You are way too demanding. " "Mom, you really think it great to fight over a freaking friend?" "Exactly. It is not even a valid excuse to fight over something. Then why are you making a fuss out of it? Why can't you just let it go." "I can't mom." "Why the hell not?" "Because she is acting like miserable. She's sick." "And what is that sickness that is making you act like the world's coming to an end?" I didn't reply with the same speed I did for her past comments. "Sean." My mom breathed out. "I know you care about her. You
Sapphire As I stepped inside the house, the warmth enveloped me in its heat. The water flowed down my body, tapping against the floor as I walked. Sean, on the other hand, was not close to my condition. He was wet, yes, but not soaking wet. His clothes stuck to his body, and he might be feeling cold too but the heater in the car drew the moisture from his body for the maximum part. And, I was still looking like I took a shower but forgot to strip my clothes off. I was shuddering and Sean's huge coat over my back isn't really helping me. When we got inside, I wasn't surprised to see Julia pacing across the room with a mobile pressed to her ear. She halted when she heard the door open and gazed at us. Relief washed across her face at the look of both of us, but her worry never left her face. She mumbled something to herself as she rushed to us. "What - where did you go?" She asked, as she held my arms by her hands and rubbing against it to infinite heat into my body. "I.. I just
Sapphire I thought I'd never hear those words, considering where they're coming from. "I'm sorry." He said. His voice was low and even. In the still night that was the loudest noise. Through those words came following the expressed guilt. "I've been everything that you've blamed me of. Today, I did over react on certain things. What didn't require such adverse attitude had been handled wrong. And I'm sorry for that." "It wasn't your fault entirely. I've been unreasonable too." I said, "Can I ask you something? But you have to honest with whatever you have to say." "Proceed." "Why were you so mad at me? I know I was being unreasonable but you never speak to me like that." Sean had no answer. Though I couldn't see him, I knew he was struggling to come up with a response. "It's late, pretty girl. We'll talk tomorrow." He said. I got up from his chest. "We have to talk, Sean. And it's going to happen now. Please, I can take it. Just tell me what that matter is." "You have enough
