Noah.
Anna and I talked all afternoon, and it was nice to sit and talk to someone normal. I couldn't remember when last I had a conversation with someone who I wasn't in a competition with, or who I didn't think of as a father or who I wasn't working for.
As I spoke with Anna I found out that I didn't have any life goals. While I didn't want to ponder on that, it burned at the back of my mind mostly because I had someone to cater for now, my daughter.
I've always wanted to do whatever I loved, race, hang out with friends and all that teenager shit. But there was now a responsibility on my neck and it wasn't just me anymore. I had Casey now, and I wanted to give her the best life I could.
**This chapter is dedicated to Lisa Ann Cooper and Skhush95418 for your awesome review ♥️Noah."I'll go talk to Casey and explain to her properly. You were harsh on her" Anna said, rising from the chair."I didn't mean to. I'm not perfect in raising a kid" I mumbled under my breath, guilt creeping into my heart."I know. I'll be right back. Don't beat yourself up" Anna kissed me in the cheek before leaving me alone in the room.It didn't feel nice to be once again alone with only my mind to keep my
Noah."Daddy! Where are you and Anna going?" Casey asked, running into the sitting room with one of her toy cars in hand. It's been three more months of recovery. I could walk now but there was a limping to it. My left hand was still in a cast so it was difficult for me to lift heavy things.I had moved back to my apartment after Anna had gotten it cleaned up from Drew and his men barging in. The furniture had been changed and the doors. According to Anna, Mr Tony had helped to and I thanked him upon my return. It's been three months of trying to catch up with school work so I could graduate. Th
Noah."Come on Case!" I shouted from the sitting room, grabbing my jacket and looking around to see if I was forgetting anything. It was the Christmas holiday and after the school dance, Anna and I had started looking for a house to buy.Since I technically had a lot of money, I was thinking of moving out of this apartment, somewhere not too far from here, but better for Casey to grow up. And Anna and I had found a small four bedroom apartment just a few miles from school. We were moving in today, the place had also been decorated because we were celebrating Casey's birthday there, it was a surprise and we were already late. Everyone was waiting."I'm coming!" Casey yelled from her room before coming to
Anna."I told you to mix the sodium chloride with the hydrochloric acid, but you didn't listen. Now Mrs Williams is going to fry our heads in chemistry class tomorrow. Simple instructions Clary, simple instructions." I shouted at my best friend over the phone, glaring as if she could see me."I wanted to but those stupid cheerleaders thought it would be a nice time to put their make up all over my desk. I swear I'll kill them tomorrow". Clary shouted back, her voice quivering a little. "Those dolls''"Stop blaming people for your mistakes Clair, we just have to be in school early tomorrow and do the project and submit it with the others before Mrs. Williams arrives""Yeah
Noah.I groaned shifting against a soft bed as I came out of unconsciousness. I could feel the lights against my eyes, so I turned away from it. But when I turned I felt a sharp pain at the side of my head and hissed loudly before opening my eyes.I was immediately assaulted by the sight of a messy room. Not really messy with dirt but with books, a lot of it. There was a huge shelf in front of me filled with books. There wasn't even space to put a single page of a book. Beside the shelf was a chair and a reading table, on top of the table was books also. And in front of the shelf a small table, books were also in it. And a small bowl upon close inspection was a fish inside of it, swimming slowly to the top of the bowl as if expecting a meal.
Anna.Running out of my apartment and outside the building, I made my way to school. It was 6:00am now. It was still early but considering I had to be in school early enough to finish mine and Clary's project, the one she abandoned yesterday. I had to be as early as I could.I stopped to grab my phone out of my bag to give her a call. I was still sleepy. I hadn't gotten enough sleep and my mind wandered to Noah for a while before I shook my head and tried to forget about him."Hey, where are you now?". I asked after Clary picked on the second ring. I heard some huffing and the harsh breathing befo
Anna."Fuck! I'm almost there!" I shouted desperately at the phone to Clary before ending the call to continue running down the street to school. After the whole episode with the..you know.., that embarrassing moment at home before I fainted. Yeah that. After I woke up I hurriedly went to the bathroom to change and started running to school. It was past eight already and though I couldn't do the project anymore, I still wanted to be in time for Mrs Williams period, and it was the first one."Sorry!". I bluttered to a random stranger I had hit and continued running. Now people were outside, opening shops, walking dogs and even the sun was smiling down at me. I had vowed to
Noah. The first thing I noticed about this school was that there weren't guys hanging along the hallway smoking or selling pot. Which was a good thing. Because while I could die during racing I didn't want to die due to lung cancer or one airborne infection that had no name. The girls were pretty decent and kinda cute too. Not that I was looking. Mostly the cheerleaders though, I hadn't even made it to the hallways, they were already taking pictures of me and probably sending to their mates inside because a bunch of girls rushed out to see me.I didn't even say anything, I mean I know I looked pretty badass with wild hair I hadn't brushed falling on my face, my cold green eyes. And the tatts running down my arm thou
