I planted at the back of my mind that once I accept his apology, there would be no going back. Which motivated me to walk right past him and this time, he followed.

“Would you please listen to what I have to say?” He sounded frustrated but I remain unbothered.

“There should be no other reason to come after me. Let’s rather not waste each other’s time.” I objected and I almost cussed at myself when my stomach broke into an hungry growl. Right to his hearing!

“I heard that.” His voice shoot forward before I was able to convince him.

“No, you didn’t.” I murmured, almost to myself alone. I let out a discrete sigh at the awkwardness I had caused when I ought to have just gone my way.

I figured it wasn’t too late, I took steps forward and was barely anywhere when he grabbed unto my hand.

“Let’s grab some food.” He peered at me expectantly and what I first did was snatch my hand from his.

“And why should I come for a mean with you?” As I cornered him once again, I beared the hunge
