We were not surprised that Meriam came. We were surprised that she was with a man, especially me, because the man she was with was Miguel.

There are so many questions running through my mind, like, 'Why are they together? Why didn't Miguel say goodbye to me? And doesn't Meriam know that Miguel has a girlfriend because if he gets close, you'll think he's a leech?

"Your eyes are too obvious," Raven whispered.

I blinked, then looked at the wine in front of me.

"Aren't you going to do something?" he asked.

"What do you want me to do? Get out of here? Fight them?" I answered him sarcastically.

"Why don't you message him?" He asked again.

"Do you think he has time to look at his cell phone and answer me?" I resisted again.

"What are you going to do? Just let him go," he inquired.

"As if I can do something here," he sighed and stood up.

"Where are you going?" was the last question I heard, and I walked away.

From his smiles, it's obvious that he's enjoying himself. He's not like that with ot
