34. Marriage Contract

"It's because I've only ever shown you the worst side of me. The circumstances in which we met weren't very appealing." He said truthfully as she wiped her tears.

"Now what are you d...doing? Is this the right way to approach me?" She asked and he clenched his hands into fists.

"I did approach you in the right way first but you said no. I tried to be the nice guy," His voice held anger.

"Do you think that you'll make me say yes by kidnapping me?" She asked sharply and he narrowed his eyes on her.

His jaw was clenched as he took threatening steps toward her.

Before she could step back. He grabbed her arm and yanked her to him rather roughly.

"I could make you say yes, right now, right here and you know that very well." He said coldly and his words sent chills down her spine as she tried to get out of his grip but it was like steel.

"L...let me go," She whispered, trembling.

"You know me enough to know you should not test my patience," the warning behind his words was like danger bells
