Chapter 6: Sick

Summer is here, and John and his wife go on a trip together. William goes out and rarely comes home. Right now, only Azura and Vincent are left in the house.

Two days passed peacefully until the day William came home. As soon as he saw him, Azura panicked. But he didn't even look at her. He went straight to his room.

Vincent sees his wife panicking and asks her.

“What's wrong? Did someone bully you?"

Azura honestly told Vincent. The day she was tricked by William into going to the bar.  He was also angry when he heard that. Yet William dared to use Vincent's identity to deceive Azura.

“Fortunately, at that time, a friend saved me.”

“William won't let it pass so easily.”

“My friend was injured and had to be hospitalized.”

Speaking of which, Azura is sad. She still hasn't inquired about Glavin's condition.

"It's over. I am safe now.  Don't mind this."

Vincent was silent and didn't say anything. Azura is holding a bouquet. She hesitantly asked Vincent.

“Are you allergic to flowers?”

“No, I'm not allergic to flowers. What would you do with them?”

“Can I put flowers in the vase in the corner?”

Vincent's room is very monotonous. She wants to add some flowers to make it beautiful. Vincent smiled lightly, and he agreed. This room is half hers anyway.

She is his wife, she wants to room decor, and he has no way to stop her.

The scent of flowers quickly filled the room. Vincent found the floral scent also pleasant. He didn't think he could get along with Azura so easily. She appeared in his life as a matter of course.

Vincent's head suddenly felt very painful. He's resting, and he doesn't even want to have dinner.

Azura noticed Vincent's abnormality. She ran to the kitchen to cook a pot of porridge. When she came back, Vincent already had a fever.

“Fever 39 degrees.”

Azura panicked. She ran downstairs to find the housekeeper. After telling them everything, the housekeeper sent someone to prepare a car to take Vincent to the hospital.

Azura helped Vincent into his wheelchair, ready to push him away. But just out of the big door was stopped by William.

“What do you want?”

Although she is afraid of him, she has urgent business to leave now. Vincent must be taken to the hospital.

"Nobody can go out today."

William had a guard at the door, not letting anyone out.

“Vincent is sick. He needs to go to the hospital. You mean don't let us go?”

“Yeah, I just don't want you to take him to the hospital.”

Unable to confront William. Azura could only take Vincent back to his room.

She ran to the kitchen to get hot water and a towel. She wants to help him cool down first. Azura hesitantly took off Vincent's shirt. She used warm water to wipe his body. She continued to wipe Vincent's body until Vincent's fever subsided was already midnight.

She also did not dare to sleep, afraid that Vincent would have a fever again. She went to the kitchen to warm up the porridge, brought a bowl to her room, and waited for Vincent to wake up. He would probably be hungry.

It wasn't until 4 am that Vincent woke up. Azura was still awake. Seeing him awake, she was overjoyed. She checked his temperature and felt that he did not have a fever. She brought him warm water to drink. She went to the kitchen to warm up the porridge and bring it up. She fed him spoon by spoon.

Even though he had a fever at the time, he couldn't open his eyes. But he still knew that William blocked the way for Azura not to take him to the hospital. He also knows that she took care of him all night. Seeing the dark circles under her eyes made him feel pain.

“I'm fine. You go to sleep for a bit.”

"Yes, I'll go to bed." She smiled lightly at him.

He was fine. She feels good. Because she was so tired, she quickly fell asleep. He looked at her. His hand gently brushed her sideburns from her cheeks.

Because she is his wife, she is very good to him. So from today, he also considers her as his wife and loves her with all his might. He helped her cover the blanket and sleep with her.

In the morning, Vincent's secretary came looking for him. William took his men to leave. He didn't dare to confront Vincent directly.

She knows Vincent's health condition. The secretary quickly took him to the hospital for examination. Thanks to Azura, Vincent's health is now extremely stable. He stayed in the hospital for two days for peace of mind. He also sent someone to take care of Azura.

Before she arrived, he and his secretary discussed William's business.

“Heard William has a bar.”

“Yes, he runs a bar business.”

“Let the police go there to check.”

Vincent must give William a proper lesson. So that next time, he won't dare to do anything too much to him. Azura was unnatural as Vincent kept looking at her. It's embarrassing to be stared at by a handsome man. He went to eat with her, and although she was in a wheelchair, she still patiently pushed him everywhere.

The most extreme is still the bathroom area. If at home, as long as she helps him get into the tub, he can take care of himself. But this is a hospital. What should he do?

So, he only stayed in the hospital for two days and one night. Vincent insisted on going home, still better at home.

With Vincent's permission, Azura redecorated their room. A room is more than just a dark color. Now it has a pretty pink color. Say goodbye to his lonely life before. From now on, he has her. His future will be brighter just because she is his wife.

“Azura, do you want to go to college?”
