Chapter 121

Sam POV

I was so proud of Josie; I was bursting at the seams. I was proud of my Pack. Everyone accepted Josie and that was the most important thing to me. She had been so afraid of the Pack’s response to her that they had overwhelmed her with their acceptance of her. When she first opened her mind to the Pack, I could feel her panic and murmured in her ear how to turn it down. She quickly did and managed perfectly.

Now we were dancing, and I was holding onto the love of my life. As we were slowly moving around the dancefloor, I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. I stopped dancing and turned to see my parents standing there smiling. I beamed back at them. With everything that had gone on, we did not have a chance to actually have Josie meet my parents.

I turn Josie around to face my parents. She stood there stiff as a board, “Who are these people?” she mind-links me. “My parents,” I quickly reply before moving forward to hug my parents. I
