37- Eskel's report 1

He pulled into a parking lot in a very quiet neighbourhood. It was dark and unbefitting for someone of his status. From the trashy car, she should've known he took 'blend in' a little too seriously. The building was not a skyscraper but it was pretty tall with a different apartment to it. There were no elevators either, we had to climb a flight of stairs to get to the apartment.

"No one would find you here," he said as he jabbed the keys into the metal door. Anna could already feel the walls of her prison cell closing in on her.

"What about the neighbours?" their new apartment was between two others. It almost seemed like she was taking a vacation outside of town.

"They are friends," he mentioned. "They'll keep you safe."

"Oh! Are you referring to those twins? Ezra and Eskel?"

The door opened and he stepped aside, holding the door open for her.

"Thanks," she walked in and took in the small apartment. Everything was already set up. There were three couches and a TV. There was a dining
