38- Eskel's Report 2

Anna glanced at Eskel who stared in shock at them both. She avoided his gaze as her cheeks heated in embarrassment. She grabbed a glass of water, "What do you mean by that?" she mumbled into the cup before taking a long and noisy sip.

She wasn't aroused now, was she? Why did he have to say something like that?

"Uhm," Eskel was perplexed at their strange behaviour but what he found stranger was that… Leroy was flirting. In all his life he never thought he'd see the day. This was news for the twins to feed on.

He had never shown interest in a woman before. Why Anna?

"I'll just read the report," he gave up trying to play detective. That was Ezra's work, not his. "According to Pascal, he got complaints from the human government that rogues were in their vicinity- which is against their law. It was up to them to handle it. Pascal and Maureen seem to have some kind of friendship going on so he always throws the big fish to Noble Hunters Pack."
