Chapter 26

I woke the next morning to a steel band around my middle and a very new soreness between my thighs. As I stretched, I remembered the moment my mate marked me. He had just moved me on top and bounced me up and down on his hardness. He sat up while I was in sheer ecstasy and he kissed down my neck when I suddenly felt his canines elongate and the initial sting of a bite, then pure euphoria washed over me so hard that I almost felt my eyes cross. I started kissing down his neck, until I found the spot I wanted to mark. I felt my canines elongate and I bit down. I felt the mate bond snap into place and I was suddenly able to feel everything my mate was feeling. I licked the bite to seal it and I suddenly felt him twitch inside me as he filled me completely.

We continued like that throughout the night. I think I finally got to sleep three hours ago. I crawled out from under his arm and went to the bathroom. When I was done, I started the shower and looked in the mirror while the water warm
