Chapter 103
Kara's POV...
This is the most dangerous decision I have ever attempted in my life. The safety that I am so keen on that I might not get at the Red Lotus pack. There is no assurance that I will get it at this supposed destination of mine. However, it felt like a good option an hour ago. It's been over a year since I returned to that packhouse that I have known all my life. In truth, it never felt like home until recently. I thought I had a place there, but I was wrong. I have cried so much that I don't have the strength to cry anymore.
Thankfully I was able to get water to carry with me in my travel and some bread that I had sneaked in by Diana. She didn't know what I was planning to do at all. I had gone to the kitchen to tell her of my cravings. She appeared very delighted to give it to me. I hope she didn't get caught and be accused of stealing.
