"Finally, we are back home! I'm exhausted," mom said slumping down on the couch as soon as we entered the house,

We were officially back in Baja and I've never been happier being here, I love the village but the people there are so toxic and I'm glad I left.

"Don't tell me you didn't love Zambia, Rissa,"

Aunt crystal chirped in sitting next to mom while Dean walked us up the stairs, yes he was carrying me in his arms because he didn't want my feel to swell

"I can walk you know," I said with a yawn and all he did was chuckle and kiss my forehead.

"Can't I carry my mate in my arms hmm? Plus you were away from me for like forty eight hours, I don't want you out of my sight again,"

"Oh Dean," I lay my head on his chest feeling his heartbeat. This is where I belong.

"I think you should stop going to school now Mel," mom suggested, placing a plate of baked beans and toast bread my way yummy!

"No mom, my exams are approaching I can't stop
