“If they keep attacking our cattle, we'll have no choice but to go after their people!” Gabriel slammed his beer in front of him at the round table. 

“Like I want to Sink My teeth into wet dogs...” Nova pulled her face together while licking her fangs. “Count me out.” She shivered in disgust. 

Turning in my chair away from the window to look at them, I sighed. “We shouldn't even be talking about this. The king Said He was Going to Handle it-.” I tried to get out, but Gabriel cut me off. 

“He's To Passive Lilith!” He let out in frustration. “King Eric thinks Risking our Letter Mens lives to Travel to The werewolves' territory to deliver a Message is efficient!” 

“They have a commanding Sergeant Major with them! They are more than ok.” I shot back at his tries to Belittle the King Himself. 

“We should just Partner Up with The west sector of Vampires and Take The werewolves of this region out.” Gabriel spoke while lifting his cup an downing the rest of the sour liquid. 

“To start a Bigger War For what? The King Has an Agreement.” I said In response back to Him Going to stand up. 

“Agreement.” Gabriel huffed out with a mocking 'ha' from under his breath. Sitting up straight, he crossed his fingers together pulling his brows together. “You know with what happened to your family I would have assumed you hated The Pack most.” His eyes held nothing but aggravation as we gazed at each other. The screams of my village and its people blared in the back of my mind, causing me to cringe a bit. 

“There's no reason to Bringing Up The lay of the land.” Nova looked up under the low lids of her eyes, her legs crossed as good as they could with our uniforms on. 

“I'm just stating the facts Nova, A war should have started then.” He glanced at both of us before standing up an finishing off his beer. Gabriel walked away from us, leaving out the room at the speed of light. Watching were he was just sitting, I shook my head at the situation. Gabriel wasn't always this up stuck, it's just He had a sister who was killed by one of the rouge wolves years ago- and he got away. So, I definitely understood where he was coming from. 

“Someone's pissed off.” I muttered taking a moment to appreciate the scenery before me Of all our crop fields we had, and the farms that had countless Different animals from Cows to Pigs an down the Line to Sheep.

“He does have a Point Though Lilith...” Nova Spoke Up from behind me and I could hear the 'click' of her heels as she rose up walking over to me slowly. “It has been Peaceful for a Long Time, And The rouge of the pack are going to fuck it up for everyone at this point.” She now stopped by me, her arms crossed while we watched a few horses galloping with each other. “I mean We Can't keep going hungry ... eventually We're going to start attacking the pack-.” 

“King Eric Would Never Allow That.” My neck snapped to hers in an instant. “We Feed On the animals only.” My voice got rash while I spoke, memories just clouding my mind. Nova could understand my obvious discomfort, with already knowing What happened to my family. 

“Hey- Sorry Half Breed...” she rested her Hand On My shoulder empathetically. “No One wants To go to war Lilith But this is The Jest.” She shrugged. 

She had to be wrong though after everything the human village practicality sacrificed to have the peace formed over our lands, there had to be a way to stop all the Rogue Wolves. 

Beginning to say something in response to Nova my thoughts were put to halt when The King Walked into the Round Table room His Second In command Right Next to him. 

“Lilith-Nova.” He smiled gracefully at us like he always did, melting my heart On sight. 

“King Eric.” We both addressed, but mine was full of joy as I beamed up at His tall slender frame. 

“Where's Gab?” He looked around the chamber an Before his search was up, Gabriel turned up right beside us with a 40-degree bow of the head. 

“King Eric.” Gabriel showed his respect upon his entrance. 

“My Three Favorite People.” King Eric Smiled to us. “Lets sit.” He ushered us to the round table. The King took His Spot At the End of the Table, locking his fingers elegantly as he sat. 

“So... Have you heard back From The Packs Leader?” Gabriel tried to jump ship right into the conversation. 

The king drew a Heavy sigh Leaning far back in his chair while the Second in Command Stood by his side at ease. 

“Gab...”  The King Let Out slowly sounding like he was about to get On his Case. 

Gabriel put his head down fast with his face fallen. “Sorry King.” He says. 

“No need....” The king looked over to Gabriel. “I have heard Word Back From The Pack.” He boomed. Within seconds A foul smell filled my nostrils a Gabriel's Fangs snarled while he stood up in defense. Nova covered her nose In Disgust, trying hard not to gag up everywhere. 

“King Eric,, Please tell me you didn't.”  Nova Actually rolled her eyes while we all waited for the stench we smelled to walk through the doors. 

“We Have No Choice At this Point, Nova.” The King Responded. 

“No Choice?” Gabriel snarled, his nails going into a point stud ready to claw at someone's neck. 

“You're going to have to calm down Gabriel. If we want to live peacefully this is the only alternative.” The King says once again defending the decision he has already made. 

“And with What condition is that?” Gabriel snapped looking back at The king, breaking the tense air slightly The second In command ran To the door In a flash opening it up to the Three Werewolf before Us. The stench of them all flowed into the room like a wave crashing against all our noses again, but this time my hand flung over my nose while we all glared each other down. 

One Female stood in the middle with Her Hand On her hip, with a conceited smirk on her face, two Guys standing behind her Both held Ugly faces just Like Gabriel, staring at them as well. 

“Well Good Evening.” The Female Wolf smiled at all of us, giving Gabriel a wink. “No need for casualties.” She walked over to the other side of the round table sitting across from King Eric, either man continuing to stand on either side of Her. “Your Majesty.” She humbly bowed her head to the king, the other two following suit. 

Looking warily from the Three pack members to the King, I brought my hand down slowly getting blind to the smell. “King Eric, What Exactly is going On?” Speaking kindly, I made sure to keep my voice down to not upset him. 

The King Looked to me a tight look on his face. “Well Lilith, they sent these Pack members to help us.” He nonchalantly stated. 

“With what Precisely?” Gabriel gave the king a questioning look. “Anything they thought they could contribute with- I will handle.” Gabriel stated firmly. 

“King Eric I agree! The Kingdom is -.” Nova also interjected but the king held his hand up, silencing her shortly after. 

“The Kingdom Is Under My Word...” king Eric looked between all six of us. “An What I say Goes... Is that Transparent to Everyone?"

“It's Been Clear to Us.” One of the Pack members males spoke up. He was taller than the other, with deep blue eyes more hard than a crystal. His gaze was One of the most captivating Allures I had felt In all my life, grim yet attractive. 

“You trying to say something, mutt?” Gabriel flashed his fangs, taking a step closer. 

“It's Already been said.” The wolf looked sternly at Gabriel. “I'm not here to fight, my job is to Capture The rogue Pack members and Bring them back to our territory. That's It.” 

All three of us looked at the king in a state of perturbation, our eyes wide in objection. 

“We're giving the captured mutts back to their pack?!” Gabriel yelled in form of a question, but we all knew the obvious, slamming his fist on the round table; the force created a crack in it, splitting the table in half. “The men who've been toying an Messing with us... eating our food Will get released back into their comfort zone? Possibly getting a slap on the wrist?” 

“I can assure Our Leader would do No such thing.” The other wolf male spoke up. 

“Fuck You and Your Alpha Male!” Gabriel snarled. The Wolf Growled back responding to Gabriel, causing King Eric to stand up in a fast motion, the feet of his chair scraping the floor.

“That's It! Gabriel meet Me at My Chambers Once All of you Our dismissed-.” The King Snapped his neck forwards again speaking firmly to the three of us. “These Members are here as Allies to help protect what is ours in exchange for what is theirs! Once night falls over us, You Six will post the Main Crop lands and The animals field's In three separate pairs... I want You - Nova With Cliff.” The King Pointed in the direction of the shorter Male. “An Lilith You're with Ethan.” He looked to the taller male. “I picked the pairs liked this because You each match balance out in weakness an strength and don't underestimate my Female warriors.” The King Expressed to the two males. Nova and I threw a quick glance at each other, worry clear On my face. 

She sent me a wink letting me know everything was Going to be fine while walking over by cliff as slowly as she could. The second in Command hurriedly went around the room handing us Vampires A belt of Daggers that were soaked in Wolves Tame. 

“If A Rouge attacks Us... use these to detain them... The Tame will temporarily numb their whole Bodies, allowing the pack members to hold on to them for the time being Until They can go back to their territory.” King Eric kept speaking while the second in command walked around, still handing us the belt with different defense mechanisms on it. 

“In the Morning I'll Have A Day team come to relive You ...” He finished off giving all of us a Once over. “Is the Task Clear and Understood?” The King Says questioning all of us, but the answer was obvious. 

The males nodded to the King letting us know they understand also what the task at hand was. 

“Great.” King Eric Clasp his hands together. “So... Lilith.” He Looked over to me walking slowly My way. I gulped under his stare, My Human heart beating fast for him. 

“Yes King Eric?” I Mumbled Looking to the person who meant more to me than just being my king. 

“I want you two at the Front of the Animals Gates.... Ethan Is The Beta, so I Know You'll be safe.” He placed His hand On my cheek allowing my eyes to flutter shut. “Is that ok with you?” He whispered. 

“Yes Sir.” I said back, opening my eyes to see his face just a Bit closer to mine. 

“Great.” He smiled, standing up straight again starting to walk his way out the room. “ I expect a Report from Each of you At Sun rise... and Gabriel.”  The king looked over his shoulder back at Gab with dilated pupils. “Don't forget to follow behind me.” Than in the speed of Light The King Was Gone Leaving the six of us there together.
